Michael McClellan is a Producer of Advertising Photography. Hmm, sounds cool, huh?!? He is “the man” that makes it all happen in our favorite photo ads. Having worked with companies such as Sony, Adidas, USA Networks, Bravo, and Showtime, he’s worked with artists from Sting to Chris Martin, and more.

One of Michael’s most daring and brave accomplishments on set came during a shoot when he had to wrangle some Spanish fighting bulls. That’s right – I said it – Spanish fighting bulls. You should be scared! And everyone on that shoot was – especially the photographer when one of the bulls came after him, barreling through metal gates and a wood barrier of the stadium. Michael whipped out his cell phone and called 911, cuz only the police had the legal ability to kill the bull. Luckily the bulls were caught and retained with no harm, and Michael was the hero to the Ad Execs that day – because no one would have bought their product had a bull been killed during the shoot…Whew!

Michael also has mad skills at deep frying turkeys – you could say he’s kind of a specialist!! He lives in Sherman Oaks and is currently planning his wedding to lovely Kate!
